Diggy Diggy Dwarf is a board game I created.
The idea of the game is that players race with each other to reach the final holy tavern. They will use movement cards and action cards for their team of Dwarfs and try to don't get defeated by the traps and duel of the other players. I wanted the game to be balanced in term of movement so the race is always tight and don't have a players suddenly way ahead that can't be catch up. Some action cards has been designed to keep the game balanced and by making it risky to be the first. Also for the movement of the players, at the beginning of each turn, each player draws 2 cards from their movement cards pile at the same time and choose one that stay secret until every other players have made their choice. The other card goes back on the bottom of the pile. There is 3 different movement cards with 3 different speed. When a player use a card with a speed of 1 (move one case) it goes back to his movement pile BUT when a 2 or a 3 is used it is discarded. So be strategic and don't use your high number movement cards too fast or you will be very vulnerable when other player decides to duels you. Add some crazy action cards such as a dynamite that it passes around until it explodes or some fancy equipment that allows you to cross some dangerous tiles without risking to loose a Dwarf. The board for the race is composed by terrain tile cards that is completely modular and offers thousands of different maps that can be created !!! Will you be the first one to reach the Holy Tavern with at least one Dwarf alive?
